I also specialize in color.  Most people think of "color" being bright bold colors such as red, blue and yellow. Neutrals are just as much colors as the bold ones. Color is one of the most important parts of design. Did you know there are over a 100 shades of white? In fact, some would say the combinations of white could be endless.  What does this mean and how does it affect your design?  Every color has multiple shades and depending on the light quality, textures, colors of furniture, and styles of accessories, these shade variations can have psychological and subliminal effects on how the overall design will feel. There is a complete art and science to balancing it all. Even subtle changes in shade and colors can make a huge change or impact on design. Have you ever looked at something you liked, such as an outfit, piece of art, picture of a room, but thought there is just something about it that just doesn't seem right but I can't quite put my finger on it?
